What is a Typical Day of Duck & Goose Hunting in Alberta with NPO?
Wake up to a quick continental breakfast.
Coffee, juice, milk, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, fruit.
Follow guide out to field.
Set up for morning waterfowl hunt. (In Alberta we have the freedom to hunt dark geese in the afternoon if warranted. Our morning hunt quarry all depends on weather forecast for the day and what we feel like is our best opportunity.)
Follow guide back to lodge.
Eat a hearty breakfast or brunch depending on time of the year.
Quick nap/downtime.
Follow guide out to field for afternoon hunt.
Setup for PM duck or goose hunt.
Follow guide back to lodge.
Sit down to supper at the lodge. Unwind over a good meal while reliving the days events.
